Update

December 22, 2006

I have decided to start doing this again in the new year.
The eating of the crappy food has already begun despite my original intentions. It’s fucking up my stomach already but that always happens. It will just mean when January comes I will be willing and ready to start afresh.

I put on another 3lbs this week which was annoying, but there you are. I have been hovering around the same half stone for months now, it’s really annoying and detracting from my original achievement. I really look forward to getting below 17st, then I will feel like I’ve really achieved something, at the moment I don’t feel like I have. I saw some relations who I hadn’t seen for a few years the other day, and they noticed that I’d lost weight. So that’s nice. But I won’t be satisfied for some time yet. I know I can do it, I achieved a lot this year, one way or another, and I can carry on doing so.

See you on the 1st January 2007.

Today

December 19, 2006

Breakfast: muesli, yog, banana, tea.
Mid morning: cheese and bean wraps
Later morning: small thing of veggie sushi
Lunch: ham salad baguette
Later afternoon: ham and cheese baguette
Dinner: cottage pie
Later: two slices toast, flora, cream cheese, marmite.
Later still: lots of jelly beans.

It was very, very cold today, that’s my excuse. And I was traveling. Eating is essential during traveling.

Rest of today

December 18, 2006

Here are some posts from today that didn’t go through:

Subject: Lunch
Chicken soup. Four slices of bread with flora buttery. I got a bit carried away with the bread. Whoops.

I’m about to have an orange creme.

Subject: Evil sweeties
Lots of Roses. Lots. And a really tart navel orange.

I also had a chicken salad, some nuts and another slice of bread.

Dinner was chicken stir fry with noodles.

Just now I had toast with butter and cheese spreads.

Mid morning

December 18, 2006

I am having a cup of tea.  I really want to try to eat less and healthily for this week, might lose a few poundingtons before Christmas, which would be nice.
Some people at a family thing this weekend noticed how much weight I’d lost since I last saw them, so that was nice.

Trouble is today there is a giant tin of Roses in the kitchen. I know I don’t Have to eat them, nobody is going to force a strawberry cream or giant brazil nut with caramel and chocolate around it down my throat.  But it’s difficult. Why couldn’t it have been Quality Street. They are horrible. Also made by Nestle, and I vaguely recall from my student days that I should be boycotting them for some reason.  But no, they had to bring in Cadbury’s Roses, and Cadbury can do no wrong, they can drip bacteria into their chocolate and people will still buy it, they are that popular.

I’m also going to try to work out this week, do the exercise bike.

Breakfast

December 18, 2006

I’m gonna write off the last few days because I can’t remember a lot of it. It wasn’t too bad.

Breakfast is muesli, yoghurt, banana, tea.

Fizzy wizzy rainbow scarves

December 13, 2006

With enough e-numbers to induce psychosis.

Yum
Last night I had chicken risotto, and that’s it I think.
Yesterday’s lunch was ham and cheese slice sandwiches, and some smoothie.  Possibly other things, I can’t remember.

Lunch

December 13, 2006

Two ham and cheese slice sandwiches.  Bloat.
Earlier I had a pain au chocolat.
Right now I am having a smoothie made of lemon, honey and ginger. It’s rather nice.

Spurned

December 13, 2006

Apple flavoured squiggly worms. Some advent chocolate (it’s Jesus’ chocolate so it’s got no calories in it). A sandwich with ham and plastic cheese. Some sherbet flying saucers, a sherbet fountain.
I have been spurned though. Spurned. I hurt.

Yeah

December 12, 2006

Last night I had two light cheese slices which tasted of even less than the full fat ones, if that’s possible.  I also had a packet of crisps.  I felt really ill after that lot, but I ate it anyway in a sort of twisted masochistic stylee.

This morning I had the usual, muesli, yoghurt, banana, tea.  I bought a load of crap for lunch though.
